Summer @ City Church Tauranga

We really are blessed to live in such an awesome place.  So if you live in Tauranga, make sure you get out and enjoy our beautiful city this summer!

Coming up in January...

For the entire month of January we have no evening services running.  We start these back up again on Sunday, 5^th February. 

As for morning services... We have four awesome speakers to kick-start 2012.

Sunday 1st January we have our very own Victor Haupt.
Sunday 8^th January we have Pastor Steve Jeffares from ARISE Hamilton.
Sunday 15^th January is our (always phenomenal) Senior Pastor Elena Hood.
Sunday 22nd January is Pastor Don Barry from GAteway Church, also in Hamilton.

Each of them has been prepping for months, ready to bring an inspiring message that is sure to be a blessing.

Summer Picnics

Following each of these services (Jan 1st, 8^th and 15^th) we have our annual summer picnics.  After the morning service, grab some lunch and come and join us at Memorial Park (by the petanque court) for a relaxing hangout with the church family.  Everyone is welcome and we’d love to see you there! 

Sunday Night BBQs

On the Sunday nights of January 22nd and January 29^th we’ll be having Sunday Night Barbeques!
Groups of people will be meeting across Tauranga for a fun BBQ get together.  All you have to do is bring your own meat and something else to share and just turn up!

There will be signup sheets available at the Information Desk on Sunday mornings so you and your friends can sign up to go to a BBQ together.
It’s a great way to meet other people in the church, and have some good ol’ kiwi tucker at the same time!
